The tandem paragliding flight from Planpraz is definitely a bucket list experience on earth and should definitely be on the to-do list whilst in Chamonix! The takeoff is from a magnificent viewpoint overlooking the Chamonix valley, the plunging glaciers and the highest peak in Europe, the Mont Blanc. Close to Chamonix town centre, the meeting point at the Brévent-Planpraz gondola is only a 7minute walk from the tourist office.
Your certified and highly experienced paraglider pilot will share their passion with you in complete safety. After a few steps to inflate the wing on a gently sloping takeoff, you will rapidly be in the air, comfortably seated, soaring like an eagle.
The duration of the flight depends on the weather and aerological conditions, time of day and the well-being of the passenger in the air. A flight can vary between 15 and 30 minutes in the air. The whole activity will take 1 hour between meeting your pilot and landing back in Chamonix.

Age and weight
Between 4 and 99 years old.
Maximum weight 120kg if you are dynamic (we avoid flying with clients over 90kg in the early morning. For children under 35kg the flights at 8am, 9am and 10am are recommended).

Summer: dress like for hiking; jumper, windbreaker jacket, trousers, trainers or walking shoes and sunglasses.
Winter: dress like for skiing; multiple layers, with warm, waterproof shoes for walking in the snow and sunglasses. -
